Lata Mondal hails from Dhaka, Bangladesh, where she was born on January 16, 1993.
Career Highlights
She was part of the team that secured a silver medal in a cricket match against the China national women’s cricket team during the 2010 Asian Games held in Guangzhou, China.
Her official ODI (One Day International) debut came on November 26, 2011, against Ireland. Notably, she made her T20I (Twenty20 International) debut against Ireland as well, on August 28, 2012.
In October 2018, she earned a spot in Bangladesh’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies.
In November 2021, she was selected to represent Bangladesh in the 2021 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament held in Zimbabwe. She got selected in Bangladesh’s squad for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Cricket Qualifier tournament in Malaysia.
Later in the same month, she received another significant recognition when she was selected in Bangladesh’s team for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.
