Murshida’s cricketing journey took a significant turn when she was named in the Bangladeshi squad for the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

On 4th May 2018, Murshida Khatun made her Women’s One Day International cricket (WODI) debut against South Africa, donning the Bangladeshi jersey with pride.

Just a few weeks later, on 20th May 2018, Murshida added another achievement to her list by making her WT20I debut for Bangladesh, this time against South Africa Women.

The year 2019 saw Murshida’s continued growth in the sport. She was selected to be part of Bangladesh’s squad for the 2019 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament held in Scotland.

In November 2019, she was a key member of Bangladesh’s squad for the cricket tournament at the 2019 South Asian Games.

In January 2020, her cricketing journey reached a new high when she was named in Bangladesh’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

Fast forward to November 2021, Murshida Khatun’s dedication to the sport was recognized once again as she was named in Bangladesh’s team for the 2021 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament held in Zimbabwe.

In January 2022, Murshida continued to be a valuable member of the squad, earning her place in Bangladesh’s team for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Cricket Qualifier tournament in Malaysia.
