Career Highlights

Ritu Moni’s cricket journey began with her ODI (One Day International) debut against Pakistan on August 20, 2012.

Her introduction to T20I (Twenty20 International) cricket came shortly after when she made her T20I debut against Ireland on August 28, 2012.

In October 2018, Ritu Moni earned a spot in Bangladesh’s squad for the prestigious 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament held in the West Indies.

The following year, in August 2019, she was selected to represent Bangladesh in the 2019 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament held in Scotland.

In November 2019, Ritu Moni was named in Bangladesh’s squad for the cricket tournament at the 2019 South Asian Games. She helped the team to secure a gold medal by defeating Sri Lanka by a narrow margin of two runs in the final.

The year 2020 marked another significant achievement in her career when she was named in Bangladesh’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

In November 2021, she was selected to represent Bangladesh in the 2021 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe.

Later in the same month, Ritu Moni received yet another well-deserved opportunity when she was named in Bangladesh’s team for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.
