Shoriful’s cricketing journey began at the domestic and under-19 levels. He made his first-class debut for Rajshahi Division in the 2017–18 National Cricket League, announcing his arrival on the domestic scene.
Shoriful’s skills and tenacity were evident when he made his List A debut for Prime Bank Cricket Club in the 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. He didn’t take long to make an impact, emerging as the joint-leading wicket-taker for his team with 17 dismissals in just 8 matches.
